A Juneteenth Poetry Reading: Poetry in AfroDiaspora & Chamorrita Song Friday, June 19, 7:30 PM PT In Person at Beyond Baroque and Live on YouTube Join us for a reading in commemoration of Juneteenth, showcasing powerful Black & Brown poets in The Wanda Coleman Theater. Two authors are celebrating the release of their new collections, Audrey Shipp's multilingual acercamiento from Caló to French and English toward African/Black diaspora poetry/poesía/poésie in AfroDiaspora and Danielle P. William's exploration of family and cultural ancestry in Chamorrita Song. Poets Maestro Gamin, J. Nicole Evans, and Naomi Nightingale will join the readings in The Wanda Coleman Theater followed by book signings & reception.
